I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve scaled ICM, a marketing and communications agency, to the point in just five months where we’re hiring a part-time assistant. The deets:

Who:

You’re motivated, organized, and up for a challenge. You’re a strong writer and communicator with an entrepreneurial side that makes you ask questions until you understand how something works. You’re active on social media and may have even blogged a bit. You want to work hard, then embrace the rest of your day.

What:

You’ll tackle a wide range of tasks, include media research, updating client websites, crafting social media updates, creating visual and written content, and more. You’ll work closely with ICM Principal Julia Scott in managing our client projects, meeting deadlines, and hitting our clients’ marketing and communications goals.

When:

Starting immediately. We’re growing fast!

Where:

304 Thames St, in the heart of downtown Newport.

Hours + Pay:

16-20 hours a week in our downtown Newport office. Some flexibility as long as you can put in office hours Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Pay is $15-$20 per hour depending on experience. We do not offer benefits at this time.

Qualifications:

Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or business preferred. 1-3 years experience preferred. Familiarity with WordPress and image manipulation software a plus.
