Job Title: Marketing and Communications Assistant at Integrated Communications and Marketing (ICM)
Location: Newport, RI (remote and in-office work)
Hours: Part-Time Contractor (5-15/week)
Pay: $10-15/hour commensurate with experience
Start date: Dec. 5 preferred
Job Description: Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) for the company and clientele. Research news reporters, writers, and editors to expand the PR opportunities for ICM clients. Assist on PR campaigns. Create email marketing campaigns. Locate published articles online, in newspapers, magazines, blogs, etc to build media hit lists. Post upcoming client events online via local news calendars, and overall monitoring the growth and success of our clientele. Blog posts. Office filing, Staples runs, basic administrative assistance.
Qualities: Strong writer a must. Prefer a junior or senior who is studying marketing, communications, or journalism. Ideal candidate is a quick learner, has a positive, can-do attitude, and is open to performing a variety of tasks, from basic admin assistance to higher level strategy.
Commitment: Looking for a semester-long commitment, with possible extension.

About ICM: ICM was founded by Julia Scott in 2015. The office is based out of Newport, RI. Julia works hands-on with her employees, and has broad experience with marketing, public relations, and journalism.
