Client was gearing up to launch a new mobile bike shop business in a territory where the franchise was relatively unknown. Owner Mike Lee needed to drive online appointment bookings and boost general awareness of his convenient and competitively priced mobile bike repair service, which covers a large geographic area in Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts.

Solution

We masterminded a targeted media campaign that hit dozens of print, broadcast, and radio media outlets within our client’s geographic customer base, including parts of coastal Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Our client interview generated quotes that highlighted his passion for the business and uncovered compelling details that would appeal to the media.

Our media campaign perfectly captured the competitive advantages of the client’s business while painting a compelling storyline for editors and reports, and we curated the client’s body of photography to select images that editors would want to run and that also send a clear message about the value of the service.

We provided media coaching before interviews so the client could speak easily to reporters and focus on his core brand messaging and competitive advantages.

Results

Media campaign earned 24 media mentions that led to many sales. “I’ve so had many people tell me they read about me in so many different papers I can’t keep track,” said Mike Lee, Velofix Southcoast RI-MA franchise owner.

Media exposure drove service bookings and exposed the client to new Facebook fans.
